Rubén Gerardo Apolloni received his Ph.D. in computer science from the National University of San Luis (UNSL), Argentina, in 2011. He is now an Assistant Professor in the Departament of Computer Science at UNSL. Since 2008 he has been teaching different subjects related to Computer Networks and Operating Systems.

His research interests include: high-performance computing, computer architecture, low-power microarchitectures,  and improving the interaction between Operating System and hardware for multicore systems.
