Carlos García received his MS in Physics and PhD in Computer Science from the Universidad Complutense de (UCM) in 1999 and 2007, respectively.

His research interests include parallel computing, computer architecture and code optimization for high performance computing. His current research also addresses heterogeneous systems and energy-aware trade-off.
